1,495 miles

The treacherous twenty-six hour drive to Florida was well worth it when we arrived in the land of sunshine, alligators, and $9 tickets to exhibition MLB games. While it did rain for three or four days while we were in the sunshine state, we still managed to make our way to a few State parks, two concerts, and a Blue Jays game which provided more than enough fun for John to keep himself amused!

D300 + 17-55

After spending the weekend shooting a figure skating competition in Napanee, I decided to pay a visit to Paul Brennan in Belleville, where we played with his D300 and 17-35 2.8, I also put together another ring flash that worked out a lot better then the last one.

Jessa, ring-flashed!

Slightly sketchy first attempt at making my own ring flash out of tin foil and a cereal box. The tube in the middle that the flash goes through was a bit too long, and too tight, so you can kind of see it in the bottom left, and the lens can't auto-focus, but the light looks even I guess!
