Maple Syrup
Scott Deugo of Fultons Sugar Bush steps over a sap line which had to be dug out because of this years abundance of snow. Scott has to check the pipes and lines from the trees several times a year, and says this is the first year the snow's been high enough to have to step over the sap lines to get back onto the trail. Although the near-record snowfall doesn't allow the sap to run as often, it will produce plenty of water for the trees in the spring.

1,495 miles
The treacherous twenty-six hour drive to Florida was well worth it when we arrived in the land of sunshine, alligators, and $9 tickets to exhibition MLB games. While it did rain for three or four days while we were in the sunshine state, we still managed to make our way to a few State parks, two concerts, and a Blue Jays game which provided more than enough fun for John to keep himself amused!
